Safe-T is a safety service providing protection for individuals and lone workers. In the event of an emergency the Safe-T service is triggered from a mobile phone or other device or even using a land line. If you live or work alone, are a diabetic, asthmatic, epileptic, take prescribed medicines, have allergies, a blood disorder or unusual blood type, we can ensure this information is quickly and accurately given to the emergency services. You can even make a call in to our support centre before embarking on a journey, or before making an appointment with a stranger, when you might need additional peace of mind. In these circumstances you can leave as much detailed information about your journey or appointment as you wish, along with the expected time of completion and when you expect to call in again to cancel the 'Amber Alert'. If a call is not received, we follow your company's procedures until the situation has been satisfactorily resolved. Unlike other lone worker solutions where the you might be expected to logon and logoff, our Lone Worker Safe-T is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. If you are called to an emergency in the middle of the night or to make a site or home visit, you do not have remember to login to the Safe-T system. Likewise, you do not have to remember to logout at the end of their shift. The service is available to you at any time of night or day, even when you are not working! Our Lone Worker Safe-T solution can be used with any type of communication device, and an employer can add and remove (de-activate) employees as required. The solution is extremely flexible and accomodates all budgets and detailed requirements. The Lone Worker Safe-T service is a real plus for all types of professions, including those in the following list: Personal safety when you need it Health visitors Midwives Social workers Self-employed people Sales professionals Anyone travelling alone Students, particularly those living away from home Estate agents Workers taking cash to or bringing cash from the bank Solitary workers of any kind Teachers Railway staff Safe-T was designed as an enhancement to, not a replacement for, the emergency services within the United Kingdom. By holding vital information about our members, we are able to offer this potentially life-saving information to the emergency services if it is required whenever one of our members triggers an 'alert', a request for assistance.
When faced with an emergency situation it is possible to forget about such important information. Allowing our members to input vital information into our secure database when they are not under stressful circumstances means that everything is to-hand when/if it is required. Another important benefit of the Safe-T service is that our members may trigger an alert with us before a potentially urgent situation reaches the point of criticality such as if they are being followed late at night whilst walking home alone. By calling our dedicated number the member not only gains some comfort knowing that someone else is aware of their situation, but also allows them to relay significant amounts of information to the support person during the conversation. All calls into and out of our system are automatically recorded so nothing is lost in the 'heat of the moment'. If the situation reaches a point that requires emergency situation attention, our support person will contact the required service(s), offering all the information gleaned, including the whereabouts of the member in distress. This level of service is a great enhancement to the emergency services. We take the call before the situation reaches criticality, and we have all the vital information to hand.
