Health & Safety

Every site receiving visitors is different.  The systems address the needs of Health and Safety, COSSH, Permits to Work, Safety Pass Alliance Passports and industry specific requirements of the food and chemical industries.

Visitors

Visitor systems provide an ID badge for each visitor.  As visitors sign into the Visitor Pass system they acknowledge your Health and Safety and security requirements.  They receive a personalised and dated visitor badge.  These are worn prominently by means of a plastic wallet with either a clip or a lanyard.

Contractors

Contractor systems provide an ID badge for each visitor.  Signing into the Contractor system they receive a personalised and dated visitor badge and acknowledge your Health & safety and security requirements.  In addition they receive an Authorisation to Work.  This may mean Permits to Work are required. Wallets with clips or lanyards are the means of identification.

Permits to Work

Additional and complementary to the Contractor system, these provide a more detailed risk assessment of the job in hand.  The entry provides a copy for the contractor, a copy for the site owner and a notice to display the work is subject to a Permit to work.  The Permits to Work address confined spaces, working at heights, hot work and electrical work.
